| "Doc Roddy" invites you to the
inaugural 8 Crossings of the Ochills which will take place on the 24th.
April 2010 at 08:00. Please note that this is an informal invite to get
out on your bikes and ride with like minded cyclists. It IS NOT an
organised event and therefore:- 1) "Participants" do it at their own risk. 2) They should also ensure they are fit enough for the task! 3) There is absolutely NO SUPPORT- feed stops/ nurses to mop fevered brows etc. 4) It's not a race. A lengthy (circa 89 miles) and rather tough jaunt through the northern hills of Kinross-shire where the climbs show scant mercy and give a total height gain in excess of 7,500 ft. If your legs fail there are plenty of escape routes to take you back to the start point in Kinross! |
